Congratulations to both our first teams for substantial victories over their opponents this week, though at Lord’s the weather provided a tougher challenge for the men.

A nail biter today against Kent to set us up. It does worry me that we are making a habit (again) of taking our foot off the opponents' neck and that our bowling looks anodyne and unvaried if there is little assistance. Great to see Luke Hollman playing high up and responding with a crucial ton under pressure but it did seem a bit blinkered not to bowl him at all until Kent had 400 up.
