We finished on 369 - Besides Robbo's 100, useful contributions from Cracknell, Isbell & Andersson

Kent currently 112/2

A plus point this early in the season is the younger players making their mark

Middlesex won by 148 runs
Kent shuffled their side around a fair bit by the looks of the scorecard, but a comprehensive victory nontheless
Good contributions from most of the team - 4 wickets for Samarjeet Singh & 3 wickets for Noah Cornwell in Kent's 2nd innings. Cornwell making a good early impression in the 2 2nd XI games so far this season

Game against local rivals Surrey started today.
Surrey batted first and were bowled out for 249, 4 more wickets for Noah Cornwell.
In reply Middlesex 80-2, recovering after losing De Caires first ball of innings and Cracknell not long after.
Luke Hollman seems to be following something of a reverse path of De Caires, a lower middle order bat and spin bowler now regularly opening the batting in the 2's

Tough day 2nd day for Middlesex yesterday
Bit of a batting collapse (where have we heard that before), going from 81-2 to 184 ao
Then Surrey finished on 204/2, a lead of 269

Drawn match in the end after weather affected much of the last day
Surrey declared on 401/8 - leaving us an improbable 467 to win
We made a slightly better fist of it second time around with De Caires & Hollman putting on over 100 for the first wicket and navigating us through the final session on Day 3.

Useful time at the crease for the returning De Caires, although he did remain wicketless

Seconds T20 season, got underway today, and a winning start v Essex. Posting an impressive score of 216-7, with De Caires & Cracknell both posting scores of 50+ and a useful contribution from Andersson (31), proving too much for Essex who were bowled out for 152 - with the wickets shared among 7 bowlers

A very tight finish in today's T20 game v Kent
Batting first we made 153 from our allocation - a bit of a disappointing total maybe, after a good start, however like the previous game, the bowling attack shared the wickets and managed to eke out a 2 run victory - Kaushal taking an impressive 3-16 from 3 overs

The 2's have adapted well to t20 cricket so far this season, one can only hope that is mirrored by the first team

Today was a rain affected game v Hants., which saw us post 178/7 from our allocation, largely down to an impressive 90 from Martin Andersson who has been opening the innings this season in t20. Like the previous game we fell away slightly after a strong start.

Before the rain came we had reduced Hants. to 63/5 after 8.3 overs - 2 wickets apiece for Kaushal and Andersson, capping a fine all round performance

2's keep winning in their t20 competition !!!

Today saw a 5 wicket win v Kent

A relatively inexperienced side successfully chasing down 150 for the loss of 5 wickets. Good contributions from De Caires(66*), Caleb Falconer(41*) & Nathan Fernandes (30).
Pick of the bowlers were, Kaushal (3-28), Walallawita (2-27) & De Caires (2-32)

100% Record came to an end today, losing by 7 wickets to Hampshire

A young side posted 170 from 20 - Fernandes (63*) & Andersson (34) making the bulk of the runs

Hampshire got there pretty comfortably with 10 balls to spare - Andersson was economical in his 4 overs, conceding only 24 runs, including a rare maiden and taking one wicket
