How about this for a group of mismatches?

Argentina women have played Chile women in three T20 matches over the last three days.

Game one-October 13th-

Argentina 427-1 in 20 overs!!!!! 64 no balls in total, so that's like bowling 30.4 overs all together! In reply Chile 63 all out.

Game two-October 14th-

Argentina 300-6 in 20 overs. Only 25 no balls this time, but partially compensated by 18 wides! In reply Chile 19 all out in 9.2 overs

Game three-October 15th Argentina 333-1 in 20 overs (32 no balls, 15 wides) Chile 22 all out off 10.4 overs.

No truth in the rumour Richard Johnson wants to sign Constance Oyarce. Over the course of three matches her 12 overs went for 183 runs!

Oh- and in the first match Florencia Martinez was taken off after one over, which went for 52 runs, and contained 17 no balls.

Sounds like the European t10 I started watching on some random cable channel the other day! That was pretty bad too.

That's some extras! Wonder if they kept up with overrate.

I'd love to know what the 17 no balls in an over was all about.

Were they all overstepping, or beamers, or maybe (given how poor the standard seems to have been), the ball bounced twice.

Another oddity in the 400+ score- not a single 6 was hit!

It does feel like Chile consisted of 11 or 12 friends, who all decided to give this cricket thing a go. Argentina women are 66th in the world, and they thrashed Chile, who don't even have a ranking.

Here's the other scorecard (I hadn't realised I'd missed one)-

https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/chile-women-in-argentina-2023-24-1402761/argentina-women-vs-chile-women-2nd-t20i-1402765/full-scorecard

In the game where Chile made 22, only one batter, Emilia Toro made any runs (1) There were 21 extras! This is included 13wides, and 3 no balls, so if Argentina had been more accurate, Chile would have been bowled out for 6.

No balls gotta be bouncing twice or not landing on the strip? Guessing they used mat or Ntp

turns out I was wrong about Constanza Oyarce's bowling average.

It was even worse than I thought.

12 overs for 243 runs (I must have forgotten to add on the no balls)

edit to add-

and the batting averages were even worse.

11 out of the 12 players used had an average of under 2, with 6 of them having an average of 0.

The second player in the averages scored 5 runs in 3 matches. making her the teams second highest run scorer.

What Chile needed was a Rhianna O'Higgins, or some other descendant of this national hero

to come in and repair the damage done to the top order.
