MTWD Forum build in progress.

A new Forum for Middlesex members and supporters - now viewable by MCC Members and Middlesex Members. Note: Middlesex members and guests will have no access to the other parts of the MCC MIOLP.

This will be open to all Middlesex members and supporters from the weekend.

In the meantime, please welcome Kevin Ziants (Barmy Kev) our first Middlesex member and a former admin of MTID.

This thread is marked 'In Progress' because I am still working on it to iron out problems. It will not be open to non-MCC members until it's ready. In the meantime, please feel free to ask sensible questions and post comments.

Now viewable. Presumably Middlesex Members who are not also MCC Members will be listed in a separate category from the main 'Community' section.

Correct. However MCC Members are not viewable to non members. Also MCCC members and supporters will not be able to use the 'New Posts - all forums' link nor see who is online or any MCC member activities.

Kevin and Viveca will moderate these forums but again have no access elsewhere. I am still setting things up - it's complicated!

That's me - my alter ego with just MCCC supporter credentials (see description of MTWD - a new Usergroup) - checking to make sure I have set things up properly and 'Jason' cannot view anything he shouldn't. I thought you might have been able to work that one out!

At the risk of sounding patronising, I meant it's complicated to explain. Setting up is relatively straightforward, although I have come across a few unexpected problems which I am working on. That's why I am not going to throw this open until the weekend at the earliest.

Also, my intention is to make this area (ONLY this area) visible to the Public, so anyone can view - not just people who have signed up. However, only registered members (MCC and/or MTWD) will be able to post here.

The four categories set-up make sense to me. I hope Middlesex immediately rediscover how to hold a bat or some of the opening postings might be decidedly grumpy!
